We talked about that in The Red Sea Rules: Week 3 post. In Genesis, the first book of the Bible, we read how God promises Abraham and Sarah a baby. We don’t need to read very far into God’s Word to learn that God is not in a hurry. If you have questions about your eternal security please stop and read this now. Please do not put that decision off! You don’t know how long you have to live. Are you counting on Him and His death and resurrection to make you acceptable before God?.Are you trusting in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?.

None of us! No matter what age we are at, we need to be prepared for eternity.

First, it’s a reminder that none of us know how long we’re going to live. Ginger’s story has made me do a lot of thinking over the years. Late that Saturday night, on her way home from work, a drunk driver crossed the center line and hit her head-on. Ginger never had the opportunity to attend college. She decided to take a gap-year (ahead of her time, obviously) before attending college. She was eighteen years old and had just that year graduated from high school. Ginger was a bright and vivacious young woman. She called to tell me that my sister had been killed in an automobile accident. On December 12, 1987, around midnight, I received a phone call from my mom who, at the time, lived in Florida.
